BLOOD LUST


Street walker...
Night stalker-
he breathes her essence in...

Aware for the first time of the beautiful stranger
she smiles her scarlet smile
and thrusts her scarlet hips
walks her scarlet walk
and licks her scarlet lips...

His eyes hungrily beckons
and she hurries to answer his call...
-he's richly dressed
and would pay in full...

But its more than just the expected payment
as desire hangs thick in the air
and racks her aching loins
as the stranger fingers her hair

Shhh...he says
as she begins to moan,
its barely a whisper
but the command is headed at once

Looking down at her pert breast
he gently touches her there
while with the other hand he holds firmly
at the nape of her hair

Skin upon Skin, in their lovers' embrace
he kisses her scarlet lips and savors the taste...
the taste of warm life and hot desire...
she stops suddenly, as she looks deep into the eyes of the stranger...

In the swiftest of moments
his thirst breaks through her skin
and she is raped of her scarlet
through the smallest of veins


...Broken body rising slowly from the city dirt
she smiles seductively as he assesses her worth...
now SHE's the beautiful stranger, and SHE calls with her eyes
to the crimson youth, with the nervous smile...

This piece I did specifically for a contest, and it is very different from anything I’ve ever done because of the strong sexual imagery, but be careful, its rather tricky as it seems to be about one thing while its actually about something else….. I think that the title gives it away though


If u have finished reading this and you are unsure as to what this piece is about, please re-read the last two stanzas, paying special attention to the last two lines of the second-to-last stanza.

okok, un fortunately it seems as if I have to spell it out as none of my friends have gotten it...the peom is about the fatal meeting of a vampire (night stalker) and a prostitute (street walker), and in the end, the prostitude is turned into a vampire and is about to do to some youth what the male vampire did to her, so the cycle continues etc... the "scarlet" and "crimson" represent blood as well as desire
